Product Description

RETANE® Advance is formulated with patented 0.3% cross-linked hyaluronic acid, combined with distilled waters of chamomile and mallow, to provide prolonged ocular surface hydration. It is designed for individuals whose dry eye relief fades sooner than expected, helping to maintain lasting moisture and comfort with soothing, anti-inflammatory support for moderate to severe dry eyes.

Active Ingredients

0.3% Cross-linked Sodium Hyaluronate, distilled water of Chamomile, distilled water of Mallow, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections.

 

Indications

Indicated for individuals experiencing:

  • Moderate to severe dry eye disease

  • Age-related dry eye symptoms

  • Evaporative or refractory dry eyes (e.g. Sjögren’s syndrome)

  • Inadequate or short-lasting relief from conventional eye drops

 

Directions

Apply 1–2 drops into each affected eye as needed. Suitable for adults aged 18 years and above only. Use within 3 months after first opening.

 

Precautions

  • If you suffer from severe damage to the clear layer at the front of the eye (the cornea), phosphate-containing products may, in very rare cases, cause cloudy patches on the cornea due to calcium build-up.

  • Do not use if there are visible particles and/or changes in the colour of the solution.

  • During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the applicator.

  • No interactions with drugs or other eye drops have been reported. However, allow at least 15 minutes between administrations of different eye drops.

  • If side effects occur during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

  • Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Temporary blurring or stickiness may occur after application in some individuals. It is advisable to wait a few seconds before engaging in activities that require clear vision.

  • The gradual emptying of the bottle may need to exert a higher pressure to allow the  delivery of the product. This is due to the proprieties of the closure system act to preserve the sterility and the chamical and physical characteristics of the preservative free solution.
